inspired...finally

so i've been treading water lately with this whole writing thing. the doggie paddle, you see, is very easy. and at heart i'm lazy. lol i wish i could say otherwise, but i really am.

then the other night in my google alerts...yes, i have to have google alerts on my very favorite crit partner because she sucks at the sharing thing. anyway, she writes this awesome post about How Twitter Can Help the Shy Writer and wham! i'm all over the bloggesphere and twitter trying to set myself up.

i've been very slack with the writing thing since the whole show-down with cancer happened back in march. i suppose it took some time to get the bullet out from between my eyes. it really was my sole focus for 3mos, so it's only right that it took 3mos to get my shit together. and oddly enough it was exactly 3mos since my mom's death last night.

so it's all about me this weekend...well, and lucy and jack. my mfc & mmc get to come out and play again! yay!

Wow, love the look by the way!

Congratulations for Cari's new release coming up--smokin' cover.

And welcome back Taryn, grief is all about taking time and moving on when you know you are ready to. I know you've been dabbling in some fun projects but I'm so happy to see you inspired again, and can't wait to see what you bring us.

Have fun with your peeps, I dare say they're as good soul food for you right now.
*muah*

I'm so happy to hear you use the "I" word. It's been a very difficult year for you and you've had so much on your plate for so long that I'm so glad you're enjoying writing. That'll help gear you up for the fun of revisions and edits and your CP poking you to tweak stuff (though she never calls your work "meh." ;P)

The blog looks beautiful...thanks so much for all you've done with it. I'm very excited to have this place for us to share our thoughts. :)

Bring on Jack and Lucy!
